Club Reopening

Finally some good news - The club is looking at reopening shortly!

We would like to thank all people who have declared an interest in joining the Tonbridge Rifle & Pistol Club. Without this level of interest, the future of our club would be cut short.

Unfortunately due to the length of time our club has been closed, we have received an overwhelming number of applications during this time as well as having a small list of people interested before. Primarily, we need to focus on and consider previous probationary members who were shooting before we closed doors. Due to the amount of time between shooting, all probationary members will have to restart the probationary period due to the nature of the sport and as a safety precaution for not only club members, but themselves also.

Furthermore, due to social distancing measures still being enforced, we're still unable to allow probationary members to shoot due to the nature of the one-to-one tuition involved which cannot be fulfilled with social distancing measures in place.

Anyone who has declared interest and hasn't received a response should hopefully hear from us next weekend when time will be set aside to contact the next wave of outstanding applicants.
